In the name of God, Amen.
I
William Hunter Merriwether of Shelby County and State of Tennessee
being on sound mind, but at present suffering much pain of body, do
make this my last will and testement, revoking all others declaring
them null and void.
I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife
Catherine Whiting Merriwether all the property of which I may die
possessed both real and personal or mixed with a full ____ of the same
to be by her enjoyed without any conditions whatsoever.
In testimony whereof I here unto sign my name on this the 15th day of May A.D. 1861
