BACUP CEMETERY MEMORIAL INSCRIPTIONS

Bacup

Lancashire

Bacup was partly in the township of Newchurch in Rossendale in the parish of Whalley and partly in the township of Spotland in the parish of Rochdale. It lies at the other end of the Dulesgate valley from Gauxholme. Many Todmorden folk moved over to live in Bacup and some are buried in the municipal cemetery.
