January 1757
I
John Fielden of Inchfield in Hundersfield, yeoman, make this my
last will.
I
give unto Dorothy wy wife, the bed and bedding wherein we use to
lie and I devise to her, my messuage and tenement called Wetshaw
in Todmorden within Hundersfield, now in the possession of Thomas
Crabtree, with the lands to the same belonging, together also with
one cottage adjoining the said messuage, now in the possession of
John Nuttall, during her life.
And
after the determination of that estate, I devise the same to her
nephew John Fielden, youngest son of John Fielden late of Shore
in Stansfield, County York, deceased, by Elizabeth, her sister.
The residue of my personal estate I give to the said Dorothy, my
wife, while she continues my widow.
