To all Christian people, etc.

I, Joshua Fielden of Kitson Royd in Shore, Stansfield, in county of York, yeoman, aged of body, etc., do make this my last will etc.

As to my lands and tenement, knowing that for diverse causes I have before the writing of this, disposed of and granted to Abraham Fielden, my son, all that messuage at Shore called Kitson Royd where I now live, and also my land in the Shaws, to him and his heirs forever; as touching my other messuages, etc. in Shore adjoining Kitson Royd, and the lands of Mary Fielden, now in tenure of Abraham Fielden, my son, I give them to Luke Crossley of Eastwood, yeoman, and Richard Sutcliffe of Todmorden, yeoman, to them, their heirs as feoffees in trust, that is to say, that if my son Abraham Fielden, do pay to said Luke Crossley and Richard Sutcliffe, £120 in six months after my decease, then that they make over said property to son Abraham; if he fail to do this, then the feoffees to sell the property.

To my grandchild, Abraham Fielden, son of John Fielden, my son, deceased, 50 shillings.

To Martha Smith, my godchild, 50 shillings

To Martha, wife of Henry Webster of Heptonstall, £15

To Susan, wife of Jonathon Speak of Powden in Haworth, £20

The rest to be divided in three parts.

1. To Judith, my daughter, wife of Nicholas Stevenson, Stansfield

2. To Susan, my daughter, wife of Jonathon Speak

3. To Richard Sutcliffe in trust for my daughter Elizabeth, wife of Jonas Taylor
