SARAH NUTTALL (1842-1873)

first wife of William Bottomley of Ramsden Wood & daughter of James Nuttall, master iron founder and cotton manufacturer. She was an accomplished pianist, having attended an Academy of Music. The Bottomley family business began at INCHFIELD CORN MILL and later at SPRING MILL in Ramsden Wood.
