I
Reuben Hague of Inchfield in the county of Lancaster Yeoman being
aged and infirm in body but of sound and perfect mind and memory
praise be to God for the same do make publish and declare this my
last will and testament in writing in manner and form following.
First
it is my will and mind that all my just debts funeral expenses and
the charge of the probation of this my will with all other my executors
reasonable and necessary charges and expenses in and about the execution
hereof be paid and discharged and I give and bequeath to my eldest
son James Hague all my benefit tenant right and term of years yet
to come and unexpired in the messuage and tenement called Calfhey
in Inchfield aforesaid which I hold by lease under Nathan Kershaw
deceased and his assigns to hold to him my said son James Hague
his executors and assigns for and during all the rest and residue
of the said term of years yet to come and unexpired together with
the said Indenture of Lease
And give and bequeath to my second son John Hague all my benefit
tenant right and term of years yet to come and unexpired in the
messuage and tenement called Inchfield Pasture in Inchfield aforesaid
and which I hold by lease under Hannah Dorothy and Margaret Travis
to hold to him my said son John Hague his executors and assigns
for and during all the rest and residue of the said term of years
yet to come and unexpired together with the said Indenture of Lease.
And
concerning all the rest of my personal estate I dispose thereof
as followeth.
First
I give and bequeath to my said son John Hague the sum of twenty
pounds to my grandson John Woodhead I give three pounds to my grandson
Thomas Woodhead I give twenty shillings to my grandson John Hague
I give twenty shillings to my grand daughter Betty wife of Samuel
Law I give twenty shillings to my grand daughter Betty wife of John
Jackson I give twenty shillings to my grand daughter Martha wife
of Samuel Jackson I give twenty shillings to my grand daughter Susannah
Woodhead I give twenty shillings to my grand daughter Mary Woodhead
I give twenty shillings to Sarah Nowell widow and relict of Edward
Nowell deceased and late or heretofore wife of my son Ruben deceased
I give one shilling and concerning all the then and residue of my
said personal estate I give and bequeath the same to my three sons
the said James Hague and John Hague and my son Thomas Hague equally
to be divided amongst them part and part alike
And
lastly revoking all former and other will and wills by me heretofore
made I do publish and declare this to be my last will and testament
and there do nominate constitute and appoint my said son John Hague
and Samuel Barnes and John Greenwood both of Langfield in the county
of York joint executors in witness thereof I the said Ruben Hague
the testator have hereunto set my hand and seal the twenty third
day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred
and fifty 1750
