WILL OF ZACHARIAH FIELDEN OF UPPER SWINESHEAD

DIED 1664

BACK TO INDEX OF WILLS

 

10 May 1664 I Zachariah Fielden of Upper Swineshead in Hundersfield, clothier, make this my last will.

I devise unto Susan Fielden my now wife all my right of all that part of the tenement now in my occupation at Upper Swineshead for life. Also my right unto that one new barn and also that one day mowing of meadow ground in that meadow called the Far Meadow in the occupation of Saville Fielden of Upper Swineshead, father of me the said Zachariah, for life after the death of the said Saville Fielden.

And my will is that James Fielden, my only brother, shall have the tenant right of that tenement now in the occupation of the said Saville Fielden after the decease of the said Saville Fielden and also those two barns now in the occupation of me, Zachariah Fielden, after the decease of the said Saville Fielden.

And after the death of the said Susan my wife I give unto the said James Fielden my brother all my tenant right in the said new barn, day mowing of meadow ground, and also the said part of the tenement now in my occupation.

And as touching my goods my will is that all my debts be paid out of the same. Susan my said wife shall have the residue of my whole goods.
