I have very little information on this File family. The mother, Catherine, was located on the 1880 census, living with her son William. I've been unable to locate the name of the father. The mother and the 4 children I have found were all born in Prussia/Germany.
I will continue my research and post any new information I find. If you have a connection to this family please let me know.
