Lorena Cemetery

This small inactive cemetery, also known as Lee Line Cemetery, was acquired by the City of Rome for back taxes in 1988. An article in the Rome Daily Sentinel on Nov. 25, 1988, gives little information about the cemetery but it was thought to be an old family cemetery.

The tombstones in this cemetery were transcribed by Kathleen Last on August 15, 1988., working with a listing done in October 1940 by Mrs. Carl Tietze. One stone on the listing was not found. Photos of the tombstones were taken on June 22, 2006 by Kathleen Last
