18th September 1919 it was announced in The Times that

the name of the WAR ANCHUSA was to be changed to BEMBRIDGE.

1919 Renamed BEMBRIDGE; Temperley SS Co, London 

1924 Renamed QUEEN OLGA; Cadogan SS Co. Ltd., Glasgow 

1937 Renamed SEVERN LEIGH; Kelston SS Co, Bristol 

        ( Mark Withwill & Sons Ltd)

1940 23rd August : Torpedoed and sunk by U.37

         Position 54.31N : 25.41W, off Iceland   

         on voyage Hull to St. John, New Brunswick, with the loss of 33 lives.
