I found my ancestor Greenberry Wynn on your site, also his father and mother. John Wynn and Polly Brewer Thomas. So does this make us cousins. My Wynn ancestor was Ada Corene Wynn who was the daughter of John Elbert Wynn whoes father was Greenberry Wynn Ada Corene Wynn married Albert Lorenzo Post they had five children, one of which was my father James Roy Post he married Mary Moline Chumney and they had six children I am the second child Gloria Lynda Post Holland
Dear Lynda, I am the 19th cousin, once removed from John Wynn whom married Polly Brewer Thomas whom had the child Greenberry G. Wynn. So are we cousins... humm could be! but this is not my main line of family I come from the main line of Dr. Thoma Wynn/Martha Buttall, Philadelphia PA and you are from the Cousins that went to the south. Check it out on the Family tree index. I would love to post your information on this site. Let me know ok!! - TTG13

I am researching the Hicks surname out of DeKalb Co GA with a possible tie to Western NC.The family moved to Northeast AL in the late 1880's. This is my husband's side, my maiden name was Huber a Swiss name. My father's people came from Switzerland to PA n the 1880's. I really enjoy your site.
Hi Sarah, Humm well, our Hicks are the Hicks that came down the line to Alcey Elsie Hicks that Married Jerimiah Horn back in Collin, Texas. Sorry we didn't get a better connection. But you might want to check back never know when someone will respond to your information. Also might check out the links page!! - TTG13

Becky, Congradulations on the "Cool Site" award! I have an Archibald Findley in my Tree. His parents were: F: William Findley, B. 11/22/1715 in Ireland and M: Jane Holland Steele, B. 1721.
Dear Rosa, Thanks for the congrats, I was so surprised on that awar ! hummm well I do not have Jane Holland Steele or a Steele, but I do have Archibald Findley as in Father to Rebecca, whom married Alexander Goodhard Walker. The Walkers are part of the Dr. Thomas Wynne line from PA. I also have a group of Hollands. Penelo e Holland married John Horn, Birth : 11 Nov 1783 Guilford Co., NC, Death : 1854 Benton Co., TN, Now the reason that I bring this up is the Wynn group and the Horn group were living in the area of each other while in the south. so you never know when by going sideways you may find som thing. Should you find a connection here please write back so that we can see where it went!! Good luck, let us know. Take Care - TTG13

I am the grandson of the Jessie Wynn in your database, and was very surprised to find her there! I would greatly appreciate knowing whom or what you got the data from her lines -- there may be another cousin out there whom I may help, or vice-versa. I w s also intrigued by the "Wynn Smith Davis - - - " name of you database, as I have a third cousin named Norma Wynn Smith Davis, who is also in your database! are you related to her at all closely? If you would like, I could send you a few minor correctio s on Jessie Wynn Kingsbury's family that I noticed. I would love to hear from you!! -- Chris Moore
Dear Chris, LOL (laughing out loud) Well, I am glad I surprised someone. What people may not realize is that I not only collected my own family but other lines that follow similar suits, as you never know when they will suddenly become your relatives!!! I believe you and I will be doing some comparisons real soon via e-mail, because I would love any corrections, any new data, or even some solid Ideas!!! You never know what will untangle our Roots!!! I liked your comment abt Genealogists always share. I have dealt with someone who for lack of a better word "brags" about the size of data they have on my spouse's surname but when I ask if he can find a certain person. He always says he needs more info like grandfather's name. If I had grandfather's name I wouldn't request a look-up from him! You have a nice site. Rhonda.

Dear Rhonda,Any Genealogist that doesn't share, is not worth their salt! I believe not only do we share, but we should also help the new genealogist take their steps toward finding their families also, saving them maybe a few of the pot ho es that we have already bee through. If I can be of any help, just get hold of me. You didn't mention any names or states. But there is a great links page here for you. Take care, -TTG13

The funny thing is, I saw your Causeys and have a guy named Norris who is connected to that fa ily. (My Causeys married into my Powells). Son of Eaton and Holly, William C. Powell married Rhoda S. Causey. Also Eaton had a second wife, Mary Causey and another son, Benjamin Eaton Powell married Nellie Causey. Try figuring this one out! Anyway, I have referred Norris to your page........Linda G.

this is interesting, I wouldn't even know where to begin with my family history ~ looks as if you have wandered pretty deeply into your history. I have been trying to get info on The House Of Wismar in Denmark.. around 1900 and before, that is where my mothers side came from. According or my auntie, prior to her death, it was a house of royalty~ I'm clueless...

Hi Becky, Your do fabulous beautiful work. You are very gifted for what you do. I liked the part about Pretty Boy Floyd especially. I had pulled his grave marker off the internet. Now I can set Norma "clear". My 5-greats grandfather Christian Esling r came into Philadelphia on the "Patience" in 1749 with his brother. Christian was born in 1704 in Zang, Germany. I am a decendent of his son Andrew Eslinger born 1747 before the arrival of the ship. Andrew eventually settled in Dandridge, TN He die in 20. Christina his wife and Andrew had 5 sons. My lineage comes from David Eslinger.Born:1787 Died: 1844. Talk with you later on line. I just wanted to sign your guest book. You are truley an artist. Cuz P.D. What no spell check? :>
