Loretta E. Skalitzky, age 74, of 203 East Fifth Street,
Shawano, passed away Monday morning, March 20, 2000, at her
home. 
Loretta was born Sept. 25, 1925, in Galloway, Wis., daughter
of the late Leo and Frani (Cherek) Konkel. She attended school in
Wittenberg, graduating from Wittenberg High School in 1944. On
July, 23, 1955, she was united in marriage to Calestine J. “Cal”
Skalitzky in Green Bay. The couple lived in Shawano their entire
married life. Loretta, along with her husband owned and operated
Skalitzky Disposal in Shawano County of many years. Her
husband preceded her in death on Feb. 8, 1998. She was a
member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Shawano. 
Survivors include: her children, Fredrick, Pasco, Wash., Ellen
(Steve) Tonn, Chicago, Ill., Matthew, Shawano, Calvin (Brenda)
of Bonduel, Robert (Lori) of Oconto Falls, Margaret (Jeffrey)
Klose of Appleton, William (Amy) of Waunakee, Wis.;
grandchildren, Stephanie Tonn, Erin, Morgan, Megan and Anna
Skalitzky; two brothers, Benjamin (JoAnn) Konkel, Appleton,
Lawrence (Viola) Konkel, Wittenberg; one sister Lenore (Joseph)
Sprangers, Iola. She was preceded in death by four brothers,
Daniel, Edward, Lloyd and Marvin Konkel and one sister,
Frances Clemens. 
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, March 23, at
11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Shawano, Father
Robert Kollath will be the Celebrant. Interment will be in the
Parish Cemetery. Friends may call at Schroeder-Mickelson
Funeral Service, Shawano, on Wednesday, March 22, from 4
until 8 p.m. and on Thursday after 9 a.m. A parish wake service
will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.


Rose S. Hofman, Shawano Lake area, passed away Sunday,
March 19, 2000, at Shawano. 
Rose was born on Aug. 29, 1930, to Henry and Lillian (Dulak)
Stanislawski in the Town of Alban, Portage County. She married
Peter F. Hofman on Nov. 18, 1967, in Park Ridge, Ill. They
moved to the Shawano Lake area in 1969, where they have lived
ever since. She was a member of St. Martin Catholic Church,
Cecil. 
Rose is survived by her husband, Peter, Shawano; son Duane
Kranski, Stevens Point; daughter-in-law, Diane (Larry) Amborn,
Holmen; three Grandsons, Robert (Dawn) Kranski, Galesville,
William Kranski, Onalaske, Chad Kranski, Stevens Point; sister,
Shirley (Frank) Ciancalo, Milwaukee; niece, Rebbeca (Joe)
Woods and family; two aunts, Teresa Rydezwski and Kathryn
Stanislawski, Stevens Point. She was preceded in death by her
parents Henry and Lillian, brother, Henry Jr. and precious
daughter, Diane Rose. 
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 23, at 1:30
p.m. at St. Martin Catholic Church in Cecil. Friends may call
Wednesday, March 24, from 5 until 9 p.m. at Zastrow Funeral
Home in Cecil and on Thursday at the church from 12:30 p.m.
until the time of services. There will be a rosary on Wednesday at
8 p.m. 
Rose and her family would like to say thank you to the hospice
home care nurses and aides, Thelma, Barbara, Carol, Paula and
Marty Henshelwood who took such good care of her through her
illness. A very special thank you to June and Tony Chomezyk for
all the dinners, flowers and baked goods that you spoiled us with
all these years. Thank you Helen and Roy. May Gods love shine
on all; family, friends, neighbors, Father Len, Father Bob, Sister
Evelyn and anyone else who has touched my life through the years,
you have all made a difference. 
Cry not for me today, but rejoice, rejoice, for I am in the

William N. "Bucky" Sagal, age 73, of 426 Sunset Drive, Plymouth, passed away unexpectedly early Monday morning, March 20, 2000 at
his home in Plymouth.

He was born on Jan. 3, 1927 in Sheboygan, a son of the late Peter and Julia Kufrik Sagal.

He attended Holy Name Catholic Grade School in Sheboygan and graduated from Sheboygan North High School in 1945.

He served in the U.S. Army during World War II from 1945-47 serving in the European Theatre.

He attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison graduating in 1951 with a bachelor of science degree in physical education.

On April 15, 1950 he married Catherine "Kay" Gorman at St. Raefel Cathedral in Madison.

The couple resided in Madison after their marriage and also lived in Mukwonago and rural Waukesha. They moved to Plymouth in 1963.

Bill has been known as "Bucky 1" (as his license plate reads) since the November day in 1949 when he donned the first Bucky Badger head
for a homecoming football pep rally. He was a sophomore and head cheerleader in Madison and a proficient gymnast when he became the
first human, two-legged mascot for the University of Wisconsin. He wore a large papier-mache badger head with a sweater that said
"Wisconsin" across his chest. He also wore boxing gloves, for the effect. The new mascot was a hit with the fans.

He was employed with the Wisconsin Department of Corrections for 33 years retiring in 1989.

He is a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Plymouth and served as an usher for many years. He is also a member of the
Knights of Columbus #1789. He also belonged to the Ladewig-Zinkgraf American Legion Post #243 in Plymouth.

Bill also belonged to the W Club, the Kiwanis Club, and the Turner Gymnast Club.

Survivors include his wife, Catherine "Kay" of Plymouth; four sons, Thomas (Edith) Sagal of Plymouth, David (Barb) Sagal of Elkhart Lake,
Daniel (Kari) Sagal of Stone Bank, Wis. and Bill (Sue) Sagal of Green Bay; two daughters, Deb (Rick) Nicolaus of Tomah and Jill (Daniel)
Mountain of Plymouth; five grandsons, Bryan, Eric and Dano Nicolaus of Tomah, Nicholas Sagal of Plymouth and Tyler Sagal of Green Bay;
three granddaughters, Amanda Sagal of Green Bay, Kailee and Ashlee Sagal of Stone Bank; three brothers, John (Delores) Sagal of Florida,
Peter (Barb) Sagal of Sheboygan and Joe Sagal of Sheboygan; one brother-in-law, Robert (Virginia) Gorman of Portage;

one-sister-in-law, Jean Ellen Sagal of Bloomington, Minn.; also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Rosemarie Sagal and two brothers, Paul and Steve Sagal.

A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday morning, March 23 at 10:30 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Plymouth, preceded by
family rites at the Suchon Funeral Home at 10 a.m. Father Dennis Van Beek, pastor of the church, will officiate. Burial will be in the parish
cemetery.

Friends may call at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth from 3-8 p.m. on Wednesday and from 9 a.m. Thursday morning until the time of
services.

The Ladewig-Zinkgraf American Legion Post #243 will conduct gravesite military rites.

Richard E. Arnoldi, 60, of 3630 Lannon Drive, passed away Sunday morning, March 19, 2000, at the Sheboygan Memorial Medical
Center.

Born Sept. 12, 1939 in Sheboygan, Richard was a son of Henry E. Arnoldi, Sheboygan, and the late Helen Praeger Arnoldi. After high
school, Richard served in the National Guard.

On Dec. 12, 1981, he was united in marriage to Kathleen S. Timchuck at St.

John United Church of Christ, Sheboygan.

He worked for the Hayssen Co. as a machine operator, before working for Sargento Foods, from which he retired in 1993. Richard also
loved cars and especially drag racing.

Besides his father, Henry and his special friend, Helen Kloppenburg; Richard is survived by his wife, Kathleen; a daughter Lori (Daniel)
Elich, Iron River, IVich.; four grandchildren, Jon, Rebecca, Ashley and Daniel Elich, Iron River, Mich.; two brothers, Donald A. (Carol) and
Daniel R. (LuAnn) Arnoldi, both of Sheboygan, three aunts, Emma Herman, Sheboygan, Ruby Praeger, Sheboygan and Irma Arnoldi,
Sheboygan Falls; several special nieces and nephews; his mother-in-law, Maxine Land, Sheboygan; other family and friends. Besides his
mother, Helen, Richard was preceded in death by a son, James. He will also be sadly missed by his basset hound, Shera.

Funeral services for Richard E. Arnoldi will be held on Friday, March 24, 2000, at the Lippert Funeral Home, 1132 Superior Ave. with the
Rev. Gregory Whelton, pastor of St. John's U.C.C., officiating. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Plymouth.

Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 4 until 8 p.m. and on Friday from 9 a.m. until the time of services.

Emma Moder, 76, of N1324 Plymouth Trail, New Holstein, died Monday, March 20, 2000 at her home.

She was born May 2, 1923 in Milwaukee, a daughter of the late John and Katherine Bender Weimer.

On Feb. 16, 1946, she was united in marriage to Theodore J. Moder in Milwaukee.

She is survived by two sons, Michael (Barbara) and Robert; three daughters, Barb, Carol (Jim) Mahlberg and Kathy; eight grandchildren;
one great-grandchild; one brother, Henry Weimer; and one sister, Pauline Toepfer. She was preceded in death by her husband and her
parents.

Cremation will take place. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.

Mrs. Gilbert (Mae) Holmer, age 73, of 922 Union Ave., died Saturday, March 18, 2000 at Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center.

She was born January 27, 1927 in Barton, WI, a daughter of the late Byron and Norma (Noster) Lovejoy. She was a 1945 graduate of
Brandon High School, Brandon, WI.

On June 19, 1948, she and Gilbert Holmer were united in marriage at Brandon United Methodist Church. Mae had been employed at Lake
to Lake Dairy for 10 years until her retirement. She was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church.

Mae is survived by her husband of 51 years, Gilbert; two sons and daughters-in-law, Dale and Jeanne Holmer and Dennis and Pam Holmer,
all of Sheboygan; three daughters and sons-in-law, Connie and Michael Kaker, of Sheboygan, Linda and David Krupp, of Green Bay and
Karen and John Gamez, of Sheboygan; thirteen grandchildren, Ryan, Miranda, Dustin, Angela, Sondra, Paul, Daniel, Kristin, Michael,
Angela, Amy, Katie and Jenny; seven great grandchildren, James, Jonathan, Justin, Nathaniel, Blake, Samatha, and Emily; her brother and
sister-in-law, Warren (Donna) Lovejoy, of Horicon;

her sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty (Emil) Freville, of New Holstein and Carol (Earl) Navis, of Fond du, Lac; three sisters-in-law, Lois
Lovejoy, of Waupun, Lue Ella (Orval) Zarling and Joan (Robert) Groth, all of Pewaukee;

her brother-in-law, Wilmer (Wimpy) Gohlke, of Neshkoro along with other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by her
daughter, Barbara Ann, her sister, Jean Gohlke and her brother, Vernon Lovejoy.

Honoring Mae's wishes, a Private Family Funeral Service was held today, Monday, March 20, 2000. Burial took place in Lutheran
Cemetery. A memorial fund has been established in Mae's memory for the Bethlehem Lutheran Church hymnal fund.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the nurses and staff of Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center I.C.U. for their genuine care
and concern.

Mae loved and enjoyed taking care of her family, especially spending time with her grandchildren.

Helen M. Ewig, Age 72, of 199 N. Dries St., Saukville died suddenly Saturday morning March 18, 2000 at her residence.

She was born January 13, 1928, in Milwaukee, daughter of the late Erhard Sr.

and Bertha Glander. She graduated from Port Washington High School in 1946.

On June 16,1949 she married Glenn A. Ewig. The couple were lifelong residents of Saukville.

She was a member of immaculate Conception Church in Saukville.

Helen enjoyed playing cards, playing Yahtzee, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Her husband preceded her in death, January 28, 1981.

Survivors include one daughter, Lindi Ewig (Jeff Kostecki) of Port Washington, and three sons, Rick Ewig of Wyoming, Kevin (Tanya) Ewig
of Milwaukee, and Steve (Dawn) Ewig of Sheboygan.

Four grandchildren, Victoria Ewig, Shawn Ewig, Taylor Ewig, and Parker Ewig.

Two Sisters, Maryann (Martin) Parlow of West Bend, Barbara (Phillip) Blansky of Illinois, and two brothers August (Jean) Glander of
Saukville, Erhard Jr.

(Ann) Glander of Saukville. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many friends.

A Mass of Christian burial will be Celebrated at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Immaculate Conception Church, 145 Church Street, Saukville. Reverend
Karl Acker celebrant, interment parish cemetery. Visitation after 4 p.m. Tuesday at church.

A memorial fund is being established in her memory for the Ozaukee Humane Society.

Pearl B. Mehre, age 87 of Samuel Circle, Plymouth, died Sunday morning March 19, 2000 at Morningside Nursing Home in Sheboygan,
where she had been a resident for the past eight months.

The former Pearl Roehr was born Nov. 20, 1912 in Plymouth, a daughter of the late Richard and Meta Ott Zemke. She graduated from
Plymouth High School in 1932.

On Dec. 9, 1939, she married Emmet J. Mehre n Rockford, Ill. The couple lived and farmed in the town of Sheboygan Falls until retiring and
moving to Plymouth in 1969.

She had been a member of the Salem Plankroad UCC. She also was a member of the Apostolic Bible Church in Sheboygan and the Ladies
Auxiliary. Pearl was a member of the Plymouth Senior Center and was active in its ceramics department.

Pearl also was active in her Homemakers group and entered her crafts and garden produce in the Sheboygan County Fair.

Her husband preceded her in death on May 10, 1988.

Survivors include three daughters, Ida (James) Accola of Trempeleau, Ruth (Thomas) Hering of Sheboygan and Gail (Richard) Huibregtse of
Sheboygan Falls; two sons, Robert Mehre of Sheboygan Falls and Arthur (Cynthia) Mehre of Tulsa, Okla.; 11 grandchildren and three
great-grandchildren.

Also surviving are one sister, Caroline Kalk of Plymouth and two brothers, Keith (Doris) Zemke of Plymouth and Philip Zemke of the town
of Greenbush.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Muriel, one sister, Adeline Zemke and one brother, Raymond Roehr.

Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m., Tuesday evening at the Apostolic Bible Church, 1341 N. 31st St., Sheboygan. The Rev. Louis
Wasmundt, pastor, will officiate.

Burial will be in the Greenbush Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 p.m.

Tuesday at the CHURCH until the hour of service.

The family will be establishing a memorial fund in Pearl's name.

Charles G. Jobelius, age 67, of 2000 Taft Ave., New Holstein, died on Thursday, March 16, 2000 at his home.

He was born on Jan. 2, 1933 in Chilton, the son of the late Harry and Myrtle (Nast) Jobelius.

Survivors include two sisters, Janice (Leo) Keuler of Chilton and Char Walsdorf of New Holstein; many nieces and nephews.

Charles will be cremated and his cremains will be buried with military rites in St. Mary Cemetery in Chilton by his parents' remains. Wieting
Funeral Home in Chilton is assisting the family.

Clara L. Cwayna, age 89, a resident of the Meadowview Manor Nursing Home, died there Saturday March 18, 2000.

She was born September 10, 1910 in Grand Rapids Michigan, a daughter of the late Ben and Mary Bellgraph Gigowski. Clara married
Michael J. Cwayna May 20, 1930 at St. James Catholic Church in Grand Rapids Michigan. He preceded her in death on August 11, 1987.

Surviving Clara are two sons, Michael (Pat) of Amery, WI., and James of Bloomington, MN.; a daughter, Marilyn (Eugene) VerVelde of
Sheboygan, seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one sister.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated for Clara on Tuesday March 21, 2000 at 10:30 a.m. at St. George Catholic Church, Six Corners, with
the Reverend Eugene D. Winkler, pastor, as celebrant. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call at the Church on Tuesday
from 9:30 until the time of the Mass.

Anna Swenson, age 94, of Cedar Grove, formerly of Chili and Marshfield died Saturday, March l8, 2000 at St. Mary's - Ozaukee Hospital
in Mequon.

Anna Jane Swenson was born on August 24, 1905 in Sherry, Wis., the daughter of George and Katherine (Resnik) Paul. She was united in
marriage to Elmer Swenson on February 7, 1923 in Marshfield. They farmed in the Chili area for most of their lives. Anna was a member of
Christ Lutheran Church in Chili for 40 years.

She is survived by two sons, Gene (Maurine) Swenson of Cedar Grove, and, Lloyd (Esther) Swenson of Chili, 11. Grandchildren, and I2
great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer, April 20, 1990, a son Oliver Swenson, June 1, 1996, five Brothers and two Sisters.

Funeral Services for Anna will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, March 21, 2000 at the Christ Lutheran Church in Chili. Pastor Stewart Marshall
will officiate. Music will, be provided by Marjorie Dahl, organist and Margaret Grottke, soloist. Interment will be in the Town of Lynn
Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 to 11. a.m., Tuesday at the Church.

Willard G. Wandschneider, 88, of 435 Summit Road, Kohler, died Friday morning at Beach Health Care Center of the Sheboygan
Retirement Home.

Bill was born Dec. 10, 1911, in Fort Atkinson. He graduated from University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in 1935 and went on to receive his
master's degree at the University of Iowa.

In 1938 he married Amber Nelson in Viroqua.

During World War II he served as a lieutenant commander in the U. S. Navy.

He began a 41-year career teaching business and math in Westby in 1935, moving to the Kohler Public Schools in 1941.

While in Westby, Bill organized and coached the high school's first football team, and he led their basketball team to several conference
championships.

At Kohler High School he was assistant football coach for 18 years; he published the school's very first yearbook and served as adviser to
the annual staff for 14 years.

In addition to his many contributions as a teacher, Bill was also very active in Kohler Village government, serving the community from 1953
until October 1999. He was village president for 16 of those years and was a member of the Planning Commission from 1954 to 1999.

As a 57-year member at St. Luke's United Methodist Church in Sheboygan, Bill was active in various church committees and served on the
administrative board.

Bill was often referred to as the poet laureate of Kohler Village, authoring countless memorable poems. He is especially remembered for his
moving Memorial Day tributes.

Bill is survived by his wife, Amber; a son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Susie Wandschneider of Kohler; a daughter and son-in-law, Sue
and John Rayburn of Crystal Lake, Ill.; four grandchildren, Chip (Valerie) Wandschneider, Lee, Kristin and Katrina Rayburn; one great
grandchild, Madeleine Wandschneider; a sister, Winifred Wandschneider of Fort Atkinson;

and several nephews and a niece. A son, Steven, preceded him in death.

A memorial service will be held Monday, March 20 at 7 p.m. at St. Luke's United Methodist Church. the Rev. Larry A. Moody, pastor, will
officiate.

Friends may call at the church from 5 p.m. until the time of service.

Memorials have been established in his memory for the St. Luke Organ Fund, and a scholarship will be established in his name at Kohler
High School.

In 1976, the Kohler High yearbook was dedicated to Mr. Wandschneider. The dedication personified Bill, both in teaching and in life. It
read, "A teacher is someone who stimulates and encourages students to read and learn;

but more importantly, a teacher is a student's friend. For everything he has done to influence us, we thank him."

Ruth H. Kappel, age 100, formerly of Adell, died early Saturday morning, March 18, 2000, at the Beechwood Rest Home, where she has
been a resident the past 10 years.

She was born April 3, 1899, in Milwaukee, daughter of the late Louis and Elizabeth Abel Moll. She graduated from Waldo High School in
1917.

On Nov. 5, 1930, she married Eugene Kappel. The couple lived all their married life in Adell.

She was a member of St. Pauls Lutheran Church in Cascade, and was a member of its Mission Circle.

Ruth enjoyed working with her hands, crocheting, quilting and making braided rugs.

Her husband preceded her in death Sept. 23, 1966.

Survivors include one son, Lee (Lilly) Kappel of Adell, and two daughters, Mary Kappel of Los Angeles, Calif., and Ruth Krossin of South
Milwaukee.

Four grandchildren, Richard (Carrie) Kappel, Kim (Randy) Zahn, Paul and Dan Handle. Four great grandchildren, Ryan and Lauren Kappel
and Brent and Kyle Zahn.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Marie Boettcher and Ethel Schmit.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 21 at 2 p.m. at St. Pauls Lutheran Church in Cascade. The Rev. Richard Bidinger, pastor, will
officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Friends may call at the CHURCH from 11 a.m. on Tuesday until the time of service.

Memorial funds will be established in Ruth's name for St. Pauls Lutheran Church and the Beechwood Rest Home.

Donald C. McElroy, 66, of First Street in Adell, died late Friday evening, March 17, 2000, at the Beechwood Rest Home, where he has
been a resident the past two-and-a- half weeks.

He was born Feb. 25, 1934, in Adell, a son of the late Charles and Adalia Hintz McElroy. He graduated from Random Lake High School.

On Dec. 2, 1961, he married Karen Kohl. The couple lived in Adell until moving to West Bend in 1974.

Donald operated a mink ranch near Adell for a number of years, and had been employed at Gilson Brothers in Plymouth, Simplicity in Port
Washington, and for over 17 years in the water conditioning business for Culligan and operating his own business.

He was associated with Emmanual Lutheran Church in Adell.

Mac had also played in the Adell Softball League and coached softball while in West Bend.

Survivors include: two sons, Kevin (Marjorie) of Grand Blanc, Mich., and, Daniel (Wendy) of Eagle River; Two daughters, Julie McElroy
(her fiancee Larry Becker) and Kelly (Steven) Winkler, both of West Bend; four grandchildren, Ryan, Maggie and Curtis McElroy and Eric
McElroy; one sister, Delores (George) Saemann of Sheboygan Falls.

Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday evening at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Adell. The Rev. Bryan Osladil, pastor, will officiate.
Burial will be in the Emmanual Lutheran Cemetery.

Friends may call at the CHURCH from 4 p.m. Tuesday until the hour of service.

Lucille E. Kissinger, 83, formerly of Kiel, died Saturday morning, March 18, 2000, at Willowdale Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center
in New Holstein where she had resided for the past five years.

She is the former Lucille Mueller, both on June 23, 1916, in the town of Meeme, daughter of the late Emil and Ella Levering Mueller.

She attended Louis Corner grade school.

On Nov. 3, 1934, she married Clarence Kissinger in the town of Meeme.

Clarence died on April 26, 1991.

She was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Louis Corners.

Survivors include one brother, Wilber (Isla) Mueller of rural Kiel; one sister, Elvira Kissinger of Cleveland; one sister-in-law, El Vera Bunge
of Plymouth; two brother-in-laws, Burton (Dawn) Kissinger of Sheboygan Falls and Edwin (Mar Gean) Rohde of Kiel.

She was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother-in-law.

Funeral services will be held on Monday at 1:30 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church in Louis Corners, the Rev. Ted Olsen, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Monday from 11 a.m.

until the time of services.

A memorial fund has been established in her name.

Elvira L. Machut, 83, formerly of Kohler and Welcome Home of Sheboygan Falls, died peacefully at Sunny Ridge Nursing Home on Friday
morning, March 17, 2000, where she had been a resident for the past two months.

She was born on June 16, 1916, in the town of Sherman, the daughter of the late Herbert and Elda (Goetsch) Weinhold. She graduated from
Random Lake High School in 1934. On Oct. 30, 1937, she married the late Joseph H. Machut in Sherman Center. He preceded her in
death on June 21, 1969.

Elvira was a longtime member of Bethany Lutheran Church in Kohler, and was active in bible class, the Ladies Auxiliary, LWML, and the
Quilting Circle.

She loved her Lord and her church, her family, reading and gardening.

She is survived by twin children; a daughter, Suzanne Bauer of Sheboygan Falls; a son, John (Patricia) Machut of Sheboygan; two
grandchildren, Jay M.

(Georgine) Bauer, and Tina (Mark) Roelse; two great granddaughters, Meghan and Danielle Roelse; one sister, Olivia (Theodore)
Ninnemann of Sheboygan;

and one brother, Raymond Weinhold of Random Lake. She is also survived by nieces and nephews and many friends.

Elvira was preceded in death by her husband and a son-in-law, Walter Bauer.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 22, 2000, at Bethany Lutheran Church in Kohler, with the Rev. Robert
Maschke officiating.

Burial will follow at Woodland Cemetery in Kohler.

Friends may call at the church on Wednesday, from 9 a.m. until the time of services.

Eleanor M. Mannebach, 82, of 1109 Clara Ave., died Saturday, March 18, 2000, at Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center.

She was born Aug. 14, 1917, in Sheboygan Falls, a daughter of the late George and Anna (Copplinger) Billmann. She attended school in
Sheboygan Falls. On June 5, 1937, she and Michael Mannebach were united in marriage at St. Mary Catholic Church, Sheboygan Falls.
Her husband preceded her in death on July 24, 1995. Eleanor was a devoted wife and mother who enjoyed taking care of her family and
home along with raising flowers and feeding the birds.

Eleanor was a member of St. Peter Claver Parish.

She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Patricia Meyer, Mary and Thomas Ross and Susan Schruers, all of Sheboygan; six
grandchildren, Kenneth Meyer, Daniel, Ann Marie and Victoria Ross, and Dale and Dawn Schruers; her great granddaughter, Merissa
Genske; her sister, Lucille Daharsh, and her sister-in-law, Evelyn Billmann, both of Sheboygan Falls; along with other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by two infant grandchildren, Sandra and Steven Meyer; one great grandchild, Matthew Schruers; her
son-in-law, Edmund Meyer; one sister, Anna Voight; two brothers, William and Jerome Billmann, and two infant brothers.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 22, 2000, at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church. Rev. Brian
Szyszko, pastor, will be the celebrant. After cremation, her remains will be interred in Holy Cross Cemetery.

Friends may call at Ramm-Ziegler-Novak-Rettke Funeral Home-Southside Chapel, 1535 S. 12th St., from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, and at the

Leo A. Burkard, 83, of 2311 Main Ave, passed away Thursday evening, March 16, 2000, at Meadow View Manor Nursing Home where
he had been a resident for the past month.

He was born Oct. 28, 1916, in Sheboygan, a son of the late Charles and Frieda Kastner Burkard.

He was a graduate of Central High School. He worked for the Kohler Co.

before enlisting in the Army and served during World War II.

While stationed in England he met Phyllis Ford. They returned to the U. S.

and were united in marriage on April 19, 1947 in the parsonage of Holy Name Catholic Church.

Leo worked for the U. S. Postal Service, Sheboygan post off ice where he retired after 34 years on Jan. 1, 1980 as the assistant postmaster.

He was a communicant of St. Dominic Catholic Parish. Leo loved to sing and was a member of the Sheboygan Chapter of the
Barbershoppers.

He is survived by his wife Phyllis; two daughters, Shirley (Bruce) Rohde and Mary (Michael) Farmer, both of Sheboygan; four
grandchildren, Matthew Rohde and fiancee Patricia Rahmer, Sheboygan, Sara Rohde, Denver, Colo., Amanda Rohde, Sheboygan, Michelle
Farmer and finace Patrick Harris, Sheboygan; one great granddaughter, Lydia Harris; a brother, Alvin (Evelyn) Burkard and a sister, Agnes
Saaman, both of Sheboygan; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Besides his parents, Leo was proceeded in death by a sister, Irene
Sachse.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Leo Burkard will be celebrated on Monday, March 20, 2000 at 11 a.m. at St. Dominic Catholic Church,
North 21st Street and Geele Avenue, with the Rev. James Jarumbo, pastor, as celebrant.

Henry J. Wester, 93, of 425 W. Walters St., Port Washington, formerly of Belgium, died Thursday morning, March 16, 2000 at his
residence.

He was born April 1, 1906 in the town of Belgium, son of Henry and Barbara Hemmen Wester.

On May 30, 1934, he married Viola Weiland at St. Mary Church, Lake Church.

The couple lived in Belgium until moving to Port Washington several years ago.

Henry worked for 51 years at Allen Edmonds Shoe Co., retiring as the shipping foreman.

He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Lake Church, the Catholic Order of Foresters and the Luxemburg Society of Wisconsin.

He is survived by his wife, Viola, five sons, Robert (Diane) of Belgium, Neil (Marsha) of Birmingham, Mich., Eugene (fiancee, Alberta Smith)
of Albuquerque, N.M., Wayne (Kathleen) of Germantown and Paul (Mary) of Port Washington; one daughter, Mary (the late Russell)
Janowiak of Whitefish Bay;

16 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and one sister, Olga Schueller of Port Washington. He was preceded in death by four brothers and
four sisters.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, March 20, 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary Church, Lake Church, with Father Charles
Wester, a nephew, officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.

Rosemary S. Jones A funeral Mass for Rosemary (Soerens) Jones of Bellingham, Wash. was held on March 14, 2000 at St. Paul's
Episcopal Church.

Mrs. Jones died Friday, March 10, 2000 at St. Joseph Hospital in Bellingham, Wash. She was 57.

Born Sept. 5, 1942 to Gerald and Delia (DenBoer) Soerens in Sheboygan, she earned a bachelor's degree in nursing from the University of
Wisconsin.

On Jan. 29, 1966, she married Richard James Jones, M.D. in Cedar Grove.

Mrs. Jones worked as a registered nurse and was the office manager and nurse for Northwest Surgical Associates.

Survivors include her husband, Richard of Bellingham; a daughter, Laura Anne Jones, M.D. of North Riverside, Ill.; a son, Richard Brent
Jones, J.D. of Chicago, Ill.; and brothers, Gary Soerens and Kenneth Soerens; and a sister, Patti Eernissee, all of Cedar Grove.

Ronald W. Becher, age 78, formerly of New Holstein, died Wednesday, March 15, 2000 at the Oshkosh Medical and Rehabilitation
Center.

Ronald was born March 29, 1921 in New Holstein, a son of the late Paul and Ada Wandersleben Becher.

He graduated from New Holstein High School in 1939 and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.

Survivors include a brother, Alfred (Irmgard) Becher of Oshkosh; two nephews, Thomas (Kathy) Becher and their two daughters, Dana and
Nicole, and Glenn Becher. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, March 17, at the New Holstein City Cemetery.

Gordon Blaemers, 79, of Santee, Calif., died on March 11, 2000.


He was born in Hingham, and spent his youth in Cedar Grove, Wis., where his father owned the local general store.

He went to the University of Wisconsin in Madison, and served in the U.S. Army in Panama as a T-Sergeant in the finance department
during World War II. After his discharge, Gordy married his wife of 53 years, Lois Blaemers of Cedar Grove.

During 1949-1970, Gordon worked for Waukesha Cutting Tools in Waukesha. During this time, the Blaemerses began raising their family of
five and enjoyed traveling, an active social life and many memorable family vacations. Gordy also obtained a pilot license and took his wife
on a few daring adventures.

In 1970, Gordy and Lou brought their family to San Diego, Calif., where he purchased the Pruyne Co., selling aircraft tools to Rohr
Industries, Teledyne Ryan, and General Dynamics. He later moved the company to El Cajon, where he purchased Tri-Supply, now owned
and operated by his children.

Known for a good joke, a wealth of stories, and a love of golf, Gordy enjoyed the friendship and respect of many. In his few years of
retirement, Gordy spent time in Borrego Springs, Calif., and traveled to golf courses around the southwest. He was a life member of Elks
Lodge #182 and golfed locally and often with the Pretenders, who knew him as "Stub-thumb Blaemers."

His memory will live on in his beloved wife, Lou; his five children, Rob Blaemers, Jeff Blaemers, Linda Blaemers, Loni Fronabarger, and Lori
Pettey, all of San Diego County; his grandchildren, Jennifer and Katherine Blaemers; his daughters-in-law, Linda Blaemers and Jill Blaemers;
and son-in-law, Dennis Pettey. Gordon is also survived by his brother, Harms Bloemers of Sheboygan; his sisters-in-law, Vera Bloemers of
Sheboygan and Jean Vander Jagt and Mary Westerbeke of Cedar Grove; brother-in-law, Carl Westerbeke, also of Cedar Grove; along
with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 25 at 2 p.m. at Singing Hills Memorial Park.

Donations in Gordon's memory are suggested to the American Cancer Society.

Minnie Coleman, 86, a resident of Sunny Ridge Nursing Home, died there Wednesday afternoon, March 15, 2000.

Minnie was born Aug. 11, 1913 in Baldwin, Wis. to Marten and Mary Wisse Blok. After graduating from Baldwin High School, she
received her teacher's certificate from Sheboygan County Teachers College.

On Sept. 6, 1952, she married Ewell M. Coleman of Sheboygan. The couple resided in the 2300 block of North Seventh Street for many
years. Mr. Coleman preceded her in death on Nov. 13, 1968.

Minnie was a teacher of Independent Living at the Sheboygan Rehabilitation Center for several years. Mrs. Coleman was a member of St.
Luke United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a granddaughter, Tamara C. Halvorsen of Eau Claire, former daughter-in-law, Laura C. Halvorsen; two sisters, Cora Van
De Wege and Antoinette (Fred) Hollander of Sheboygan; a brother, Martin Blok of Phoenix, Ariz.; other relatives and friends. In addition to
her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, E. Martin Coleman; a brother and two sisters.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Ballhorn Funeral Chapels. The Rev. Larry Moody, pastor of St. Luke United Methodist
Church, will officiate. Burial will take place in Wildwood Cemetery. Friends may call at Ballhorn's on Saturday from 1 p.m. until the time of

Dr. Henry Kunsmann, age 63, of the town of Belgium, died Tuesday, March 14, 2000 at Froedtert Memorial Lutheran Hospital in
Wauwatosa, where he was a patient.

He was born April 3, 1936 in Bochum, Germany, a son of Emmi Wagenschwantz Kunsmann and the late Heinrich Kunsmann. He served in
the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. On June 24, 1972, he married Jill Fisher in Port Washington. Dr. Kunsmann retired as a senior
metals engineer from Eaton Corp. in Milwaukee where he was employed for over 15 years.

He was a member of Grace Episcopal Church in Sheboygan, the American Foundrymans Society, American Society of Metals, Milwaukee
Chess Club and the Society of Sigma XI.

Dr. Kunsmann is survived by his wife, Jill; one daughter, Hannelore (Daniel) Bruhn of Port Washington; two sons, Heinzel Kunsmann of
Kansas City, Mo. and Erik Kunsmann of Port Washington; his mother, Emmi Kunsmann of Bochum, Germany; brothers Peter Kunsmann of
Berlin, Germany, Alfred (Ingrid) Kunsmann of Stuttgart, Germany and Hans (Suzzane) Kunsmann of Bonn, Germany; and one sister, Sigrid
(Eckhart) Lennemann of Bonn, Germany. He was preceded in death by one brother.

A private memorial service will be held at Grace Episcopal Church in Sheboygan. Entombment will be in Grace Episcopal Church
columbarium in Sheboygan.

R. Donald Lohmann, age 71, of 708 Mayflower Ave., died suddenly on Wednesday, March 15, 2000, at his home.

Don, as he was known and revered by literally thousands of his friends and relatives, was born on Sept. 8, 1928 in Burlington, Iowa. After
graduating from Burlington High School, he attended the University of Iowa and graduated from George Williams College in Oak Brook, Ill.

Beginning his distinguished career as a YMCA leader, Don served as the Y youth director in Canton, Ill., assuming a similar position at the
YMCA in Richmond, Ind., and advancing to the position of Executive of the Krannert Branch of the Indianapolis YMCA in 1962, he clearly
qualified to become the president of the Sheboygan County YMCA in 1967.

Retiring from the latter position in 1991, this beloved leader has since devoted his skills and energies in attracting over $8 million in gifts for
various causes benefiting both the Y itself and Camp Y-Koda and the countless people of all ages who benefit therefrom.

On Aug. 14, 1954, Don and Doris Moore were married. Mrs. Lohmann survives him as do their son, Christopher, daughter-in-law, Lisa,
and four grandchildren, Ian and Tia Crocker and Madison and Gwen Lohmann. He is further survived by a brother, John Lohmann, and his
wife Rosie, in addition to nieces and nephews. Don was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Louise Lohmann and by his brother,
Larry.

As a faithful member of the First Presbyterian Church, Don served that body as a former trustee and elder. He has also served as a member
of the Board of Directors of the Heritage Mutual Insurance Co.

His military service saw him function as a cryptographer in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

Don Lohmann loved people and people, young and old, loved him. He possessed an incredible ability to remember names and he relished
greeting children with a smile, and sometimes a piece of candy. He had a profound positive effect on the quality of the lives of Sheboygan
County citizens, a significant example of which was his creation of GRA-Y basketball, a program currently attracting 3,500 participants.

Memorial services for R. Don Lohmann will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 18, at First Presbyterian Church, 1429 N. Fifth St.
Visitation will be at the Ballhorn Funeral Chapel on Friday, March 17 from 3 to 8 p.m.

Marlene L. Nieman, 63, passed away Monday, March 13, 2000 at her home with her beloved family beside her.

Mrs. Nieman was born on Aug. 17, 1936 in Oconomowoc, the daughter of Hans and Myrtle (Lorenz) Anderson.

She married Ronald J. Nieman on Aug. 18, 1956 in Oconomowoc. Mrs. Nieman was a former longtime resident of Sun Prairie and most
recently had moved to Madison.

She was a former employee of the Sun Prairie School District working as a Title I Aide and was a volunteer at Meriter Hospital and
University Hospital.

Marlene, with her husband, Ron, was an "Ambassador for the Athletic Club" of the University of Wisconsin, where she made student/athletes
feel at "home" and promoted the value of the University of Wisconsin. She enjoyed being a wife and mother, but her greatest joys came from
being a grandmother and she cherished every grandchild.

Mrs. Nieman is survived by her loving husband, Ronald of Madison; her three loving children, Jay (Ann) Nieman of Janesville, Robin (Don)
Plaisance of St. Louis, Mo. and Kyle (Danee') Nieman of Milwaukee; her beloved grandchildren, Heather, Jesse, Emily, Lauren, Kelsy,
Audrey and Peter; her special great-granddaughter, Rebecca; her loving brother, Don Anderson of Baltimore, Md.; other relatives and many
friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and two infant brothers.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 17, 2000 at 11 a.m. at the United Methodist Church, 702 North St., Sun Prairie, with the
Rev. Ross V. Oestreich officiating. Inurnment will be held in Labelle Cemetery, Oconomowoc.

Edward M. Olson, 85, a former resident of Sheboygan, died March 4, 2000 in Traverse City, Mich.

He was born Nov. 30, 1914 in New Richmond, Wis. On Dec. 22, 1947, he married Marion Oliver. She preceded him in death on July 5,
1997. Ed graduated from Central High in 1931 and served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He worked as a laborer and after retiring,
worked as a security guard until the age of 75. Ed enjoyed fishing, hunting, trapping and meeting people. He had many friends of all ages.

Survivors include three daughters, Bernice Olson, Eva (John) Petoskey of Michigan and Patricia Kaat; four grandchildren and 1
great-grandson.

Funeral services were held in Suttons Bay, Mich. and burial was at Greensky Hill Cemetery.

The family asks that those wanting to honor Swede's life take a walk in the woods, go fishing, shoot a game of pool, play cards with a friend
or help your child with their homework.

Gene W. Rust, age 75, died suddenly on Tuesday, March 14, 2000, at U.W.

Hospital.

Gene was born on June 16, 1924, in Sheboygan and graduated from Sheboygan Central High School in 1942.

He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend, and will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Gene was an avid tennis player
and musician, having written many songs about his family and the places in which he lived.

He was a member of First United Methodist Church, Deltona, Fla., active in choir and a men's group.

Gene received the Bronze Star for infantry service in World War II. He retired from sales and management with Wausau Insurance Co. in
1983.

Gene is survived by his wife, Marilyn; a son, Brian (Jacque) Rust of McFarland; a daughter, Constance (David) Baldwin of Waupaca; four
granddaughters, Katrina and Adrienne Rust, and Madilyn and Leandra Baldwin; a brother, Kenneth (Mary) Rust of Fond du Lac; and many
nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Jay Rust.

A brief memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 18, 2000 at Buckeye Evangelical Free Church, 5109 E. Buckeye
Road.

Frederick P. Mallmann. age 74, of 3441 S. 10th St., died suddenly on Monday, March 13, 2000 at Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center.

Fred was born on March 8, 1926 in Sheboygan, a son of the late Arnold and Elizabeth (Schaeffer) MaIlmann. He attended St. Peter Claver
Catholic School and Sheboygan Central High School. On May 4, 1957, he was united in marriage to Joan Scherer at St. Peter Claver
Catholic Church.

He had been employed by Ebenreiter Lumber and as store manager for Richardson Lumber Co. in Sheboygan. He was an avid fisherman,
fishing daily when possible.

Fred was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and its Building and Grounds Committee where he was active in various
refurbishing projects for the church.

Fred is survived by his wife, Joan; three sons, Tom (Kathie) Mallmann of Rockford, Ill., David Mallmann of Minneapolis, Minn., and Steve
(Kathleen) Mallmann of Rochester, Minn.; a granddaughter, Lucy, and triplet grandsons, Eric, Jack and Toby; two sisters, Jean Schuchardt
and Lucille (Ludwig) Johst, both of Sheboygan; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Laurie.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1 p.m., Thursday, March 16 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Rev. Glenn
Powers, as celebrant. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery.

Shirley Mae Rotsted, 65, of 2433 Mayflower Ave., passed away on Monday, March 13, 2000 at her home.

Born Oct. 18, 1934 in Sheboygan, Shirley was a daughter of Margaretha Senkbeil Hert and the late George Hert. She worked for many
years at Hert's Market, was a clerk for the H. C. Prange Co. and then worked as a telephone operator for the Wisconsin Telephone Co.

Shirley was a loving and caring person who always thought of others before herself. This was never more apparent than when she married
her brother-in-law, Milfred Rotsted, on April 29 1972, at St. John's U.C.C. after her sister, Betty Ann, passed away so that she could help
raise Betty Ann's children. She then helped run the farm with her husband until Milfred preceded her in death in 1994. Shirley enjoyed the
outdoors, gardening, and taking long walks. She also loved to sing and was a member of the Sweat Adelines.

Besides her mother, Margaretha; she is survived by her three stepchildren, Vicki Lynn (Tony) Krause, Naperville, Ill., Daniel Lee Rotsted,

LeRoy W. Kuhn, 83, of Erie Ave., Sheboygan, died Sunday evening, March 12, 2000, at Froedtert Memorial Lutheran Hospital in
Milwaukee, from injuries sustained in an auto accident in Sheboygan County on Sunday afternoon.

He was born May 13, 1911 in the town of Russell, a son of the late Louis and Charlotte Freimund Kuhn.

In January 1932, he married Elda Miller. The couple lived and farmed in the town of Mitchell, before moving to Oshkosh, where he was
employed at Wisconsin Axle.

In 1954, he married Betty Resop and the couple made their home in Sheboygan Falls. He later moved to Sheboygan. He was then employed
at the Kohler Co.

for 22 years, before retiring. In retirement, he was a caretaker at the Pinecrest Resort near Pickerel, Wis. in the summer months. LeRoy was
known for his love of polka dancing and fishing.

Survivors include two sons, Ronald (Brenda) Kuhn of Tangerine, Fla. and Dale Kuhn of Stockbridge; five grandchildren, Donald Kuhn,
Connie Kuhn, Graydon (Jackie) Kuhn, Monique Kuhn and Jeremy Kuhn and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one
son, Arlen Kuhn; one granddaughter, Dawn Tuggle and one great-granddaughter, Connie Tuggle.

Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 16, at the Wittkopp Funeral Home in Plymouth. The Rev. John Mason will
officiate. Burial will be in the Plymouth Woodlawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the Wittkopp Funeral Home from 4 p.m. on Thursday until
the hour of services.

Anton "Tony" Kaas of Milwaukee, entered into eternal life on Sunday, March 12, 2000 at the age of 70.

Beloved husband of Maria; loving father of Stella (Dale) Kaas-Lallensack and Annette (Craig) Kaas-Roush; dear Opa of Rachel and
Anthony Lallensack and Amanda and Kathleen Roush; brother of Joseph (Mathilda) Kaas, Maria (Ludwig) Vogel, and Hilda Tesan. Tony
was also loved by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Jill Kasabuske, age 55, died early Saturday morning, March 11, 2000 at Sunny Ridge Nursing Home where she has resided for many years.

Jill was born on Feb. 3, 1945, a daughter of the late Melvin and Gladys (Bubb) Kasabuske. She attended local schools and was a senior at
Sheboygan South High School when an auto accident impaired her physically and mentally, causing her to spend the rest of her life in health
care facilities.

Jill was known for her beautiful voice and was studying to be an opera singer. She was a member at Bethlehem Lutheran Church.

Survivors Include a brother and sister-in-law, Kim and Sandy Kasabuske of Kewaskum, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and other relatives
and friends.

A funeral service will be held for Jill on Friday, March 17, 2000, at 7 p.m.

at the Ramm-Ziegler-Novak-Rettke Funeral Home, Southside Chapel, with the Rev. Alan D. Kubow, pastor at Bethlehem Lutheran Church,

La Bella M. Schmitz, 90, of New Holstein, died Monday, March 13, 2000 at the Calumet Homestead Rehabilitation Center in New Holstein
where she resided since 1995.

She was born July 3, 1909 in Marytown, the daughter of the late Nicholas and Magdalena Kobriger Schnur.

On June 25, 1935, La Bella married Leo G. Schmitz Sr. in Marytown. He preceded her in death on Jan. 15, 1997.

She was a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in New Holstein, the Christian Womens' Society and the St. Lawrence Seminary
Mother's Guild.

Survivors include one daughter, Mary Ann (Ronald W.) Schneider of Appleton;

five sons, Leo Jr. (Maria) of Myrtle Beach, S.C., Joe C. (Barb) of Chilton, LeRoy of New Holstein, David (Helen) of Howards Grove, and
Larry (Ann Brill) of Columbia, Mo.; 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, four step-grandchildren and; seven step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband two brothers and one sister.

Friends may call at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in New Holstein on Tuesday, (TODAY) March 14, 2000 from 5 p.m. until the time of
services.

A funeral Mass will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the church, officiated by the Rev. Frank Weber. Burial will be in the Parish Cemetery. A

Mrs. Adelaide Stoltenberg, 97, former town of Centerville resident, currently residing at North Ridge Medical and Rehabilitation Center,
Manitowoc, passed away on Sunday, March 12, 2000.

Born Aug. 14, 1902 in the town of Centerville, she was a daughter of the late William F. and Emma Doersch Jaeger. She attended Maple
Leaf Elementary School in the town of Centerville and graduated from Manitowoc High School in 1920.

On June 20, 1928, she was united in marriage to Victor Stoltenberg at St.

John and St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church, Cleveland, by pastor Philip Sprengling.

The couple resided in the Stoltenberg Century homestead farm in the town of Centerville where they farmed until their retirement in 1968, at
which time they moved to the city of Manitowoc. Victor passed away in 1991.

Adelaide was a life-long member of St. John & St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church, Cleveland and its Ladies Aid. She was also a
member of the Point River Homemakers and the Manitowoc Senior Citizen Group where she served as a volunteer.

Survivors include three daughters and two sons-in-law; Phyllis (William) Neidinger of Columbus, Ind., Joan (Al) Dargis of Laurel, Md., and
Janet Krofta of Rockville, Md.; one brother and sister-in-law, Paul (Charlotte) Jaeger of Kenosha; nine grandchildren, five
great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, and three brothers, Walter, Hugo, and
Clarence Jaeger.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 15, 2000 at 11 a.m. at St.

John & St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church, Cleveland. The Rev. Aaron Schoenike, will officiate. Burial will be at St. John Cemetery,
Cleveland.

Daniella C. Kolar, age 78 of 4334 Harriet Ave., Minneapolis, Minn., and formerly of Sheboygan, passed away on Saturday, March 11,
2000
at Abbot Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis after a brief illness.

She was born on Jan. 23, 1922 in Sheboygan, a daughter of the late Paul and Anna (Gasser) Schuster. Daniella attended Ss. Cyril &
Methodius grade school and was a 1939 graduate of Sheboygan Central High School.

Vincent Kolar and Daniella Schuster were united in marriage on Dec. 1, 1951 at Ss. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church. He preceded her
in death on Dec.

30, 1971.

Daniella was a longtime member of Ss. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church, the parish Christian Women's Society, K.S.K.J. and the
Catholic Women's Charity Club. Since moving to Minneapolis, Minn. three years ago to live with her daughter, she enjoyed newfound
friendships with the Prime Timers at the Blaisedale YMCA.

Surviving Daniella are two daughters, Marianne Kolar of Dallas, Tex., and Kathleen Kolar of Minneapolis, Minn.; two sisters, Mary
Schuster of Sheboygan and Sister Mary DePaul Schuster of Springfield, Ill.; two brothers, Frank Schuster of Sheboygan and Emil Schuster
of Monona. She also was preceded in death by three brothers, Carl, Paul and Victor Schuster.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated for Daniella at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 15, 2000 at Ss. Cyril & Methodius Catholic
Church, 822 New Jersey Ave., with the Rev. Richard Fleischman, pastor, as celebrant.

Interment will be in the Greendale Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 until 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Habermann-Zimmer Funeral Home, 805 N.
Sixth St., Sheboygan, where a parish vigil service will be conducted at 6 p.m.

Celesta G. "Shorty" Baumann, age 82 of Glenbeulah, died at her home on Saturday, March 11, 2000.

She was born Aug. 2, 1917 in the town of Marshfield, Fond du Lac County, the 12th child of the late Anton and Gertrude (Lefeber) Enders.

Celesta was married to Clarence "Mickey" Baumann on June 30, 1938 in Plymouth. He preceded her in death on Nov. 9, 1995. She was a
homemaker for her family in Milwaukee and Glenbeulah. She was a member of St. Fridolin's Catholic Church in Glenbeulah.

She is survived by two sons: Richard (Janet) Baumann of Glenbeulah, Robert (Elaine) Baumann of Shoshoni, Wyo., and one daughter,
Jacqueline "Lynn"

Baumann of Green Bay; four grandchildren: Steve (Debi) Baumann of Reno, Nev., Kathy (Barry) Paulson of Hayward, Chad (Chris)

She was preceded in death by five brothers, Gregor, Casper, Florian "Farmer," Ambrose and Edward Enders, three sisters, Martina Steffen,
Josephine "Josie" Arndt and Odelia "Peggy" Baumann.

Roman H. Schuessler, 70, of #2 Beechwood Drive, Sommers Trail Court, Sheboygan, went home to be with his Lord Jesus, Sunday,
March 12, 2000, at Sunny Ridge Nursing Home where he had been a resident for the past two weeks.

Born April 8, 1929, in Six Corners, Roman was a son of the late Joseph and Catherine Genson Schuessler.

Roman served his country in the U.S. Navy.

Mr. Schuessler was employed by Plastics Engineering Co. until retiring in 1996. He was previously employed by the Hayssen Company for
27 years and before that worked as an independent trucker.

He is survived by his daughter, Joan (Rick) Wensauer, Sheboygan; two granddaughters, Sherry and Stacy; a nephew and godson, Ralph
(Joy) Ramminger, Chilton, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by an infant brother, Jerome, and a sister, MaryCeil
Ramminger.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Tuesday, March 14, 2000, at St. George's Catholic Church, Six Corners, with the
Rev. Eugene Winkler, pastor, as celebrant. Relatives and friends are welcome at the church on Tuesday from 9 a.m. until the time of Mass.
Interment will be in St. George's Cemetery.
