Tyneside Family History
This site is a history of colliery villages in the North East of England, in particular the area of Weetslade in Northumberland, including Dudley, Burradon, Seghill, Seaton Burn, Killingworth and Cramlington in the 19th Century.
Also social living conditions in Newcastle on tyne,pages on the site include Migration, the Irish, Housing, Education, Census, Work, Public Transport and Railways.
In the photograph section I have included pictures of churches, chapels, Clubs, miners institutes and schools many of which may be of interest to people researching their genealogy. There are many surnames on the site which may be of interest to family historians.
