Union County, Ohio Biographies Project - Adam Fausnaugh
ADAM FAUSNAUGH
Adam Fausnaugh, a farmer near Richwood, was born in Franklin County,
Ohio, and was a son of Adam and Mary Elizabeth (Andricks) Fausnaugh. He
was raised on the farm and educated in the common schools of Fairfield
County. When about sixteen years of age he came to Union County, and
has since made this the place of his abode. He early adopted the
occupation of a farmer, and has devoted the whole of his life to
agricultural pursuits, meeting with well merited success in all his
undertakings. He is an energetic, practical farmer, and a stanch
supporter of the principles of the Republican party, On April 2, 1861,
he was married by Rev. Long, in Delaware County, and has had four
children, viz.: Emory E., Sarah E., Louise, deceased, and Lollie May.
