CHRISTIAN SAGER
Christian Sager settled on the site of Unionville. He had married Elizabeth Shover, raised a large family of children and died a farmer of Darby Township, in January, 1866, aged ninety six and one-half years. He had been a church member for sixty-eight years. Most of his children removed West, and his descendants are now widely scattered. He possessed a strong constitution and temperate habits and by industry and close economy accumulated considerable property.
