David H. Willoughby, a tailor, was born in Licking County, Ohio, January 7, 1848, and is a son of Birdsey and Nancy (De Wolf) Willoughby, the former a native of New York, and the latter of Connecticut, both of English descent. He was raised on a farm, and in early life learned the tailor trade, which he has since followed. He is a man of steady habits and a good workman, and for the past seven years has been engaged with W. H. Richards, at Richwood, where lie resides. He was married in 1874, to Civilla Cain, by whom he had one child-Harvey, who died in 1877. Mrs. Willoughby died in 1878, and on January 1, 1882, Mr. Willoughby married Lillie B. Frye. They are both members of the Richwood Baptist Church.
