D. M. ROBINSON
D. M. Robinson, a farmer, was born September 1, 1823. He is a son of John W. and Elizabeth (Mitchell) Robinson, and a grandson of James Robinson, one of the early pioneer settlers of Union County. Our subject was raised to manhood in his native place, and educated in the common schools of the county. In October 1853, he was married to Miss Mary J. Valentine, daughter of James Valentine, and a native of Athens County, Ohio. They were blessed with five children, viz., John W., married Ross Robinson; Algernon N.; D. Elmer; F. Scott and Mattie (deceased). Mr. Robinson and family are associated with the Presbyterian Church of Milford Center, of which he is an Elder. Mr. Robinson is a man of enterprise, and has been chosen to various local offices of honor and trust. He served as Trustee of Darby Township a number of terms, and in politics is a Republican.
