GEORGE MITCHELL
George Mitchell, son of Judge Mitchell, came first, probably as early as 1814. He married Margaret Boles and had three children-David, James F. and Martha E., who married Dixon Robinson. Mr. Mitchell died of pneumonia, soon after his settlement in Jerome.
