JOHN DIMWIDDIE

<>    John Dimwiddie, a native of Virginia, married Sarah Crane, of Greenbrier County, Va.,--now West Virginia--and removed first to Ross County, Ohio; thence, in 1823, came to Union County and settled on Mill Crook, where he purchased land which is now owned by A. G. Boring, and resided until his death: his remains were interred upon his own farm.  His wife survived him and died in Iowa.  Their children were as follows: Robert, Elizabeth, Silence, John, Margaret, Mary, William, Andrew, Rebecca, and Priscilla, all of whom moved away and settled in various States of the Union.
