Contact.  Transcribed by Jack STEER Checked Val HENDERSON.   Page 810 BUCKLAND-TOUT-SAINTS is a small parish and village in Kingsbridge union, containing, by the census of 1861, 31 inhabitants, and about 1000 acres, but the acreage is included in the parish of Loddiswell, in the deanery of Woodleigh, archdeaconry of Totnes, diocese of Exeter, hundred of Coleridge , East Devonshire: 2 miles north-east from Kingsbridge. The living is a chapelry annexed to the vicarage of Doddiswell (sic)*, valued at £50 per annum and is in the incumbency of the Rev. Henry Townend, B.A., and the patronage of Mrs. Townend. The chapel is a small edifice, dedicated to St. Peter, with tower, and was principally rebuilt in 1779. The trustees of the late S. Brunskill, Esq., is lord of the manor and owner of the whole of the parish.
