The house was the home of a Brookfield blacksmith and is now operated
as a museum. Collections include costumes, 19th-century home furnishings,
locally manufactured articles, photographs, and local ephemera. There are
guided tours and an annual ice cream social. Contact Person: Kevin Harty,
President Jean Doane, Secretary. Hours and Admission: July and Aug, Sun,
2 – 5pm, and by special arrangement. Admission $2 donation. Not accessible
to the disabled.
