The museum and headquarters of the Northfield Historical Society is
located in the former home of Governor Charles Paine. The current exhibit
is "Northfield at War, 1941-1945." On sale at the museum are copies of
a booklet compiled to document how Northfield men and women participated
in World War II, both on the home front as well as on the war fronts. The
exhibit will be open until January 2, 2001. Contact Person: Alan H. Weiss,
President. Hours and Admission: Sat., Sun, and Wed., 1-3 p.m. Admission
is free but generous donations are graciously accepted.
