Jim Vennen's biography, posted on Facebook, to Retired Air Force Recruiters, August 22, 2009 I grew up in the Ohio learning solid values to be practiced to this day. Music was and is a passion in school I still possess. Following my fathers footsteps I worked in a factory. Needing to advance, I attended Wright State University before joining the U.S.Air Force. I served as Combat Photographer in SE Asia and the photographer for Tuskegee Airman General Chappie James at NORAD, Cheyenne Mountain. The second half of my Air Force Career I served as a Nurse Recruiter and Officer Recruiter. In 1983 our Springfield, Ohio office won Blue Suit IV. Retiring from the Air Force, we moved to Colorado. |
