On 10 April 1864, Benjamin F. married #2 Susannah E. HILEMAN. (Sources: 1, 2). She died ca 1869. On 6 December 1869, he married #3 Elizabeth A. GRIFFIN. The 1870 census lists them living in Platt twp, Andrew Co, MO. The pastor, Benjamin F. BOWMAN living across the Missouri River from Andrew Co MO in Doniphan Co KS is not the same person. He was born in Rockingham Co VA (1822), from Shelby Co OH, and married to Sophronia O'Harra LEWIS, born 1826 in Franklin Co OH. They married, according to Bird's Doniphan County Kansas Platt Book of 1882 (also see here), in 1852 in Adams Co IN. In 1856, they settled in Doniphan Co KS (Sec 30, twp 3, range 22, PO Wathena). He raised stock and was a Methodist Episcopal Church pastor. By 1882, they had 5 sons and 1 daughter, and lived in Wathena, Doniphan Co., KS. He may have died 16 July 1916 in Leavenworth, KS (aka BAUMAN, source)

BOWMAN had a daughter, Mary Ann BOWMAN, born 13 June 1857 and died 3 May 1897, buried in McGlothlin Cemetery, Andrew Co, MO. The stone says she was their only daughter.
3. Eliza BOWMAN GEORGE     b 1835-36 KY     d Mar 1860 MO (24)     m Joshua J. GEORGE     2 children	Eliza BOWMAN was born in Kentucky 4 or 5 years before her parents moved west to Missouri (ca 1840). On 11 November 1852, Eliza married Joshua James GEORGE, son of Enoch and Jane (McCOTTER) GEORGE also of Andrew Co MO. In the next 6 years, they had two children, Newton Howard (1856 MO-1931 OK) and Enoch Casper "Cass" (1858 KS-1950 OK) GEORGE. In March of 1860, Eliza died. Three years later, on 1 January 1860, Joshua J. married Lucy BURK, his sister-in-law. They had about 13 more children before his Lucy died in March of 1880. Joshua J. died almost 15 years later, on 14 February 1895.
