to Mary Bailey - First marriage in the county. Marriage performed by Judge John Cleves Symmes. Elijah served in the Rev. War as Ensign and Lieutenant. Pensioner. One of the members of the Stite's expedition and an original settler of Columbia, Hamilton Co., OH.

Jemima Lucas Mills was the daughter of John Lucas and Jemima Robbins. She was married to James F. Mills on Oct. 8, 1815, in Butler County, Ohio. James and Jemima removed to Fountain County, Indiana about 1833 and lived there until their deaths. They are buried in Salem Cemetery in Fountain County, Indiana.
