The Last Will and Testament of John Weaver

I, John Weaver, of Butler County, Ohio do make this my last Will and Testament.

Item 1st. I direct all my just debts and funeral expenses to be paid also expenses of Administration.

Item 2nd. I have hereby made advancements in money and land to my children and to the children of my deceased children in substantially equal portions which I wish no account to be taken.

Item 3rd. I authorize and direct my Executors herein after named to sell at private or public sale as they see fit and covey by good and sufficient deed in fee suitable all the real estate owned by me at my decease and to convert the same into money. The Executors are authorized to rent and receive the rents of all my Real Estate and after paying taxes to distribute the residue so directed in fourth item of this Will. Item 4th. I direct that all my personal property, money and estate including the proceeds of my Real Estate above directed to be sold to be distributed and paid out as follows:

To my son, Martin Weaver, one ninth.
To my daughter, Catherine Baird, one ninth.
To my daughter, Jane Cunningham, one ninth.
To my daughter, Eliza Sheely, one ninth.
To my son, Henry S. Weaver, one ninth.
To Esther Ann Weaver and Mary E. Weaver, children of my son, John L. Weaver, deceased, jointly one ninth.
To John Long, Noah Long and Louisa Long, children of my deceased daughter, Elizabeth Long, jointly one ninth.
To the children of my deceased daughter, Mary Ann Andrews, jointly one ninth.
To the children of my deceased son, Philip Weaver, jointly one ninth.

Item 5th. I nominate my son, Martin Weaver and my son in law, Andrew Cunningham, Executors of my Last Will. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this fifth day of June A.D. 1878.
