SCOTT M. VAN HOY
Scott M. Van Hoy, 39, of Bloomington, died Friday at his residence.
Born August 30, 1959, in Indianapolis, he was the son of William F. and Barbara Lee (Crouch) Van Hoy. He was the owner/operator of Campus Laundry and Dry Cleaners. He received a bachelor's degree in 1981 from Indiana University where he was a member of Beta Theta Phi fraternity.
Survivors include his wife, Lora D. (Lowry) Van Hoy; one son, Douglas Van Hoy, at home; one daughter, Sara Van Hoy, at home, one sister, Laura Van Hoy of Lehigh Acres, Fla.; two brothers, Billy Van Hoy of Nashville and Stuart Van Hoy of Summerville, N. C.; and his grandfather, Joe Crouch of Bloomington. He was preceded in death by his parents and his grandmother, Thelma Crouch.
Services will be 1 PM Wednesday at Allen Funeral Home with Marty Sheckler officiating. Burial will be at Clear Creek Cemetery. Friends may call 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.

Palatine - Douglas A. Dusing, 67, of Palatine, formally of Mount Morris, passed away Wednesday, April 1, 2009, at Northwest Community Hospital, Arlington Heights.
Doug was born March 30, 1942, in Oregon, the son of Donald T. and Maryalyce (Olsen) Dusing. He graduated in 1960 from Mount Morris High School. Doug served in the Army from 1964 to 1967. He attended several schools, including the University of Illinois, Rockford School of Business, Electronic Computer Programming institute, and computer system institute. Doug also attended many extension course at the University of Wisconsin. He married Kathleen L. Kreider on March 28, 1970 in Mount Morris.
Doug lived most of his early life in the Mount Morris area, and worked for Kable Printing, and Kable News Co. He was director of transportation at Kable News Company when he moved to the Chicago area to work for several diffrent companies, including Gloria Lean Gourmet Coffee as a transportation manager. He retired because of health reasons in 2003 from AB Dick Co., Niles. He worked in transportation management for four years, and also worked for six years as a mainframe computer programmer for AB Dick.
Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Kathleen L. Dusing of palatine: one son, Donald T. (Grace) Dusing of Chicago: two stepchildren, Timothy R. (Rose Marie) Dunbar of Madison, Wis, and Amy Owen of Tustin, Calif.: three sisters, Jan (James) Ahling of Estero, Fla., Sue (Larry) Spaulding of Sterling, and Norma Dusing of Madison, Wis.: one brother, William (Karen) Dusing of Cedar Rapids, Iowa: one grandson, Jamie T. Dusing: six stepgrandchildren, Matt and Joe Owen of Tustin, Calif., Eric and Juliana Hernandez of Chicago, and Nicole and Caitlyn of Madison, Wis.
Memorial services is at 1 p.m. Monday at Finch Funeral Home, 405 E. Hitt St., Mount Morris, Cremation rites will be accorded. Burial is at Oakwood Cemetery, Mount Morris. There is no visitation.

Mrs. Helen Grimes, 91, of Frederick, died Friday, March 28, at Northhampton Manor Nursing Home, Frederick.
She was the wife of the late Roscoe M. Grimes Sr., who died Dec. 11, 2000
Born Oct. 21, 1911, in Myersville, she was the daughter of the late John Emmert and Arlepha V. Dusing Shepley
She was a memeber of Woodsboro Evangelical Lutheran Church.
She graduated from Middletown High School and the Frederick City Hospital Nursing School.
She is survived by one son, Roscoe M. Grimes Jr. and wife Mary of Frederick; two graddaughters, LaSeille Willand and husband Terry, and Mechelle Taccino and husband Rodney; two great-grandsons, Bradley Willard and wife Kelly, and Kristofer Willard; and one great-great-grandson, Nathan Willard.
She was preceded in death by an infant son; and one sister, Evelyn Wilhide
Private graveside services will be held at Mount Zion United Methodist Cemetery, Myersville, at the convenience of the family. The Rev. Dorothy Lundgren will officiate.
