In Memory of the many kin buried in this very old cemetery. I have been told Old Thomas Murray is either buried here or nearby on Sinking Creek ; Joseph E & Ann Walker Barron are supposedly buried here as well as members of the Job family

Carved on the top of the stone wall "Aug 22, 1919" I wonder who carved this date and why?

The Range house sets near the Bacon Cemetery off the Elmer Walker Rd. I recently learned that the original Bacon home was a log cabin and when John Range bought the farm from the Bacons he eventually tore down the log cabin and built this house in its place. Across from the Range house on West Sinking Creek there is a log cabin inside a barn ; maybe this was the Bacon cabin? or it could be the log cabin that Henry and Jane Bacon Walker lived in before building the big house
