JOHN WALKER FAMILY
John Walker was born 1796 the year Tennessee became separated from North Carolina. He was the oldest son of William and Susannah Graham Walker. He married Lucretia Martin November 24, 1824. Lucretia "Treasy or Creasy" as she was called died February 12, 1863. John lived after Lucretia and may have died just before 1870 or sometime between 1863 and 1869. Is it possible that John and Lucretia are buried in the Walker-Galloway Cemetery where they lived? John and Lucretia became Charter members of the Limestone Baptist Church, Sulphur Springs on June 30, 1842. John acquired a lot of land and there may have been a dispute over the land owned by John
We believe this may be John Walker found in a Walker album belonging to Amy Walker Bowman
