There are at least 3 LDS IGI records of this marriage, all dating 14 April 1771. Two records have the location as Newtown, New York, and the other as Elmhurst. The latter records Elmhurst as being in Queens County, but it is actually in the far northwest county of Chautauqua, New York. The records showing Newtown as the marriage location have it in Queens County. There are three places called Newtown, in Suffolk, Erie and Saratoga counties, New York., Principal=Mary (?)
