There are at least 3 LDS IGI records of this marriage, all dating 14 April 1771. Two records have the location as Newtown, New York, and the other as Elmhurst. The latter records Elmhurst as being in Queens County, but it is actually in the far northwest county of Chautauqua, New York. The records showing Newtown as the marriage location have it in Queens County. There are three places called Newtown, in Suffolk, Erie and Saratoga counties, New York., Principal=William Lawrence Note*: July 1783, Mary, William and Marcus migrated from New York, on the ship Commerce with the Loyalist Fleet, landing at Saint John, New Brunswick. After obtaining land grants, they settled in Hampstead, further up the Saint John River. Death*: 28 May 1822 Burial*: There is no written record of where Mary was buried, nor is there a marker in the Palmer Family Cemetery. However, given that most members of the Palmer family were buried there, including William Lawrence and son Marcus, one can assume so too is Mary. Family 1: ? Palmer d. before 1771
