Note*: as for the charcoal sketch in his scrapbook.....that is Ralph Parsons, second husband of my aunt Jessie Hart. Jessie first married my uncle Albert Palmer (my mother's brother). He was a biochemist, and had a contract with the military during the latter years of WW II, working on biological and chemical weapons. He died suddenly and mysteriously at age 42. The military claimed it was a heart attack, which is highly unlikely. This left Jessie a widow for decades, with no pension as Albert hadn't worked long enough to build up a pension. Then, well into her 60s she met Ralph Parsons, a widower. He and his brothers were all millionaires from a family shipbuilding business in Nova Scotia.
