He would beup early and do his route, then come home, get his golf clubs and headfor the golf course. Uncle Roy liked to smoke. He would buy his tobacco and cigarette paper and he had a little machine and roll his owncigarettes. He would roll maybe twenty or thirty at a time. Some timeshe would have a bag of tobacco and take out a paper and roll just onewith his fingers and light it. Uncle Roy had had all his teeth pulled when he in his twenties or so. Hewore false teeth for many years and would take them out at any time justto show his nieces and nephews. He had a very heavy mustache thatreminded you of Andy Gump. Later his shaved it off. After his parents died, he lived in a small basement apartment in Seattleon Aurora Avenue about a half mile south of the Aurora Bridge.
