"Frank Teed's brother and companion at the ice carnival, a graduate of the University of New Brunswick, became the Reverend Arthur Teed, the rector of historic Saint Mark's Church at Mount Watley, his second parish, where he served until his
retirement well into the twentieth century. Arthur Teed married Cora King, the daughter of Captain Joshua King of Dorchester, where the priest frequently returned to Trinity Church to officiate at family weddings and at the funerals of boyhood and

"In his business as a contractor J.F. Teed was very fortunate to have the services of his lawyer - son Bedford, a graduate of the University of New Brunswick, who practiced in Sackville. He witnessed his father's signature on contracts and was in
position to give advice on terms drawn up. In the later years of his father's ill health Bedford undertook correspondence about payment for work completed and the disposal of building materials. On one occasion Teed's clergyman son Arthur witnessed
signature, surely an acceptable substitute for the faithful Bedford. It was the latter, however, who was bidden to join his father in Cape Breton to help lighten the work of supervising the many building sites involved in the Cape Breton Railway
Company contract.
Bedford Bulmer Teed did not marry and at the time of his mother's death in 1908 he had begun a new practice in Alameda, Saskatchewan. There he was taken ill and died in 1909. The lawyer was named for his maternal uncle, Bedford Bulmer, who had gone
New Zealand from his Frosty Hollow home.
While Bedford Teed eventually moved far from Dorchester, John Francis' other children remained in close touch with their Chignecto roots........."

"John Teed married Mary Jane Bulmer of Frosty Hollow on May 29, 1856. The Reverend Thomas N. De Wolfe, rector of Sackville and Dorchester, performed the ceremony witnessed by Elizabeth Teed, the groom's sister, and George Moore of Dorchester. The
bride was one of the thirteen children of George Nelson Bulmer and Latitia (sic) (Merrill) Bulmer, and the great-granddaughter of the first George Bulmer who, at the age of twelve, came from Yorkshire with Charles and Susannah (Coates) Dixon, later
apprenticed to a stone mason and grew up to marry the second daughter of his sponsors."
"John Tidd and Mary Jane Bulmer were married in the Anglican Church and in 1867 both were confirmed into that church by Bishop Medley in the Trinity Church, Dorchester."

Note: The author, Helen M. Petchy, stated that Mary Jane Bulmer's mother was Latitia (Merrill) Bulmer, but later in the publication stated that her mother was Lavinia (Merrill) Bulmer.
