"Frank and Arthur Teed who joined their friends at the Dorchester carnival in 1878, costumed respectively as a Boot Black and a Deck of Cards, became well known in their professions. Doctor John Francis (Frank) Teed, who attended the Jefferson Med
Institute in Philadelphia, practiced first in Moncton and later in his home town. In time he became the chief medical officer at the federal penitentiary, a position he held for over twenty years. He was twice married, first to Daisy Weldon, the mo
of his three children; and second to Ada Palmer, both of Dorchester. Doctor Teed's sons Ralph and Francis bore the names of their paternal ancestors, the noted Siddall brothers who came to Aulac with the Yorkshiremen." "Lucy Ann Teed McGrath was a graduate of the music department of Mount Allison and taught both piano and voice from her father's house. She became the long-time organist of the penitentiary chapel in Dorchester. She lived out her life at The Hedge
"Lucy Teed's name appears on the programs of the shiretown's parlour concerts where she performed as both instrumentalist and vocalist. She helped to organize concerts at Robb's Hall and Hickman's Hall and took part in Trinity Church musical event

"Mariner George, the oldest of the four sons, studied at both Mount Allison and Saint Joseph's Universities. He practiced law in Dorchester and later in Saint John and he was the Chancellor of the Anglican Diocese of Fredericton. He and his wife, former Margaret Hanington of Dorchester, continued to make their summer home in the shiretown where they had purchased Rocklyn, Edward Baron Chandler's Regency mansion."
