     Sophie Pauline Koch was born on 3 December 1879 at 283 Sevington, E. Boston, Suffolk Co, Massachusetts.1 She was the daughter of Paul A. Koch and Rosina Beck. Sophie Pauline Koch married David Andrew Waugh, son of Samuel Waugh and Sarah Margaret Bigham, on 1 September 1915 at Beverly, Essex Co, Massachusetts; The marriage, registered in Brookline, actually occurred in Beverly. They were married by Andrew L. Bixler, 40 Railroad Ave, Beverly, MA.2 Sophie Pauline Koch died on 25 May 1961 at Framingham, Middlesex Co, Massachusetts, at age 81;
     "Mrs. Sophie Pauline (Koch) Waugh, 81, died at her home, 27 Belvidere Rd, Thurs. afternooon.
     Mrs. Waugh was born in East Boston, the daughter of Paul A. and Rosina Koch. She had been a resident of Framingham for 35 years and was the wife of David A. Waugh.
     Besides her husband, she leaves a son, Wilbert A. of Sudbury.
     Strictly private services will be held at the Wadsworth Funeral Home, corner of Lincoln and Beech Streets at 4 o'clock. Rev. Ernest R. Case, formerly minister of Wesley Methodist Church, where the deceased was a member for many years, will officiate. Interment will be at the Edgell Grove Cem. It was Mrs. Waugh's request that there be no calling hours."3
She was buried at Edgell Grove Cemetery, Framingham, Middlesex Co, Massachusetts.
