Ine King of the West Saxons

     Ine King of the West Saxons married Ethelburg Queen of the West Saxons. Ine King of the West Saxons was born between 676 and 680 at Wessex, England. He was the son of Cenred. Ine King of the West Saxons died in 728 at Rome; He had abdicated the throne in 726 and died just two years later, stating he was leaving the kingdom "to younger men" and made no attempt to name an heir.¹
     Ine King of the West Saxons was also known as Ingild.
