Rudolph Hughes Junior

     Rudolph Hughes Junior was born on 8 September 1935 at North Carolina.^1,2,3 He was the son of Rudolph Hughes and Katie Mae Kornegay. Rudolph Hughes Junior married Van Lec McWhorter on 28 August 1954 at Dillon, Dillon, South Carolina; The News and Observer (Raleigh, NC), 21 Nov 1964, p. 37. Rudolph Hughes Junior died on 8 March 2016 at Goldsboro, Wayne Co, North Carolina, at age 80; Rudolph was the son of the late Rudolph Hughes, Sr. and Katie Kornegay Hughes. He had worked as an electrical engineer with NASA and with Shell Oil Company. Rudolph proudly served his country in the United States Army.

Rudolph is survived by his sons, Rudolph Alton Hughes of Logonville, GA, Clifton Abbott Hughes of Decatur, GA and Davis Allen Hughes of Decatur, GA; grandchildren, Joshua Abbott Hughes, Amanda Hughes, and Sunshine Hughes; and one great-grandchild, Parker Hughes.²
     He lived at Goldsboro, Wayne Co, North Carolina.² He lived in 1935.¹ He lived in 1940 at Graham, Alamance Co, North Carolina.¹ He lived in 1951 at Goldsboro, Wayne Co, North Carolina.³
