Jennie Minnie Covey

     Jennie Minnie Covey has also be reported to have been born 11 March 1876 Schroon Lake, Essex Co, New York, Her obituary gave this date.¹ She was born on 11 March 1879 at New York.^2,3 She was the daughter of Hiram Barzilla Covey and Corintha Eleanor Taylor. Jennie Minnie Covey married Rufus Melvin Covey, son of William Covey and Fanny Adelia Wells, on 19 August 1896 at Ellenburg Corners, Clinton Co, New York.¹ Jennie Minnie Covey died on 22 December 1963 at Northfield, Washington Co, Vermont, at age 84; Jennie's obituary mentions that she and her husband moved from Ellenburg, New York in 1913 to Northfield, Vermont, where they lived on Mill Hill.¹ She was buried in 1964 at Mount Hope Cemetery, Northfield Ctr, Washington Co, Vermont.¹
