Henry I of England
     Henry I Beauclerc was born in September 1068 at Selby, Yorkshire, England.1,2 He was the son of William The Conquerer and Matilda of Flanders. Henry I Beauclerc married Edith Matilda of Scotland, daughter of King Malcolm III of Scotland and Margaret Aetheling, on 11 November 1100 at Westminster, Middlesex, England. Henry I Beauclerc died on 1 December 1135 at St Denis-le-Fermont, near Rouen, France, at age 67.1 He was buried at Reading Abbey, Reading, Berkshire, England.1
     He reigned between 3 August 1100 and 1 December 1135 as King of England. He was crowned 6 August 110 at Westminster.1
