WebTV Transloading to Freepages

Please Note: You can only transload your Pagebuilder scrapbook images if they are already saved on a published WebTV page. However, images found or created on another site can be directly transloaded, with permission, by the standard system of isolating the URL of the page, image, or midi, then copying that URL by using CMD-A or Shift+arrow to select, then CMD-C, and going to http://www.transloader.com or http://onnet-z.com/my_index.htm (offline 11/19/2001) or http://filedex.simplenet.com/. where you will paste (CMD-V) the URL in the appropriate place.

Transloaded files will appear on the main page of the directory you have chosen. They can be moved to a subdirectory while in File Manager, by using the "Rename" button. Click the radio button for the file, click "Rename", place the cursor in the box in front of the file name and type the subdirectory name followed by a slash: e.g., house.gif can be put in the vermont subdirectory by typing vermont/ in front of the image name to become vermont/house.gif. Then press the "Rename" button.

This is not an advertisement for transloader.com or onnet-z.com (this site appears to have gone off the web --try FILDEX instead being sure to have te website URL copied) -- rather, these sites are ones I have been able to work. My appreciation to Ella, who steered me to these sites when another closed its Internet doors. If you want to try the transload process with other sites, check out Beth's site.

Transload One Page with Text and/or Images

This system does transload one complete page, but you may need to rewrite some to accommodate the new host: banners, spacing. If you are transloading your WebTV site, you must visit it before going to the transloader. 1. Go To the site/page to be transloaded
