What?The Class of 1976 proudly issued the Challenge to Tech Reunion 2001 Classes! On Sunday, June 10, alumni competed by reunion class to claim the Reunion Row Bowl! Eight-man shells were used for class boats and The Row consisted of two heats: a qualifying heat and a final heat. Where?Both heats began at the near side of the Harvard Bridge, and ended at the far end of the boathouse pier. |

Challengers and Champions!!!!

You couldn't ask for a more stellar day: A cloudless sky, a cheering crowd, and a dock full of rowing enthusiasts ready to get back on the Charles. While the Class of '91 put up a good fight, the class of '76 accepted their own challenge and came away the victors.
Participants included members from classes 1951, 1961, 1966, 1971, 1976, 1986, 1991, and 1996. There was also a collaborative effort from the classes of '76 and '96, who split the difference by assuming the handicap of '86. While the class of '41 did not take part in the official Row, they did take to the Charles on Friday afternoon for their own reunion row. By all accounts, it was a truly inspirational sight.
