The Practice

On Saturday, June 9, the classes got a chance to practice on the Charles, between 8 AM and 10 AM in practice slots as arranged with the coaches.

The Race

During the Reunion, June 10, 2012 alumni competed by reunion class to claim first, second, and third place medals. In the previous Reunion Row in 2007, '57 finished 4th with a time of 1:01.5. '02 finished 3rd with a time of 0:55.0. '92 finished second with a time of 0:51.0. '67 finished first with a time of 0:49.5. For details see elsewhere on this site.  The competition began at 7:30 a.m.

The Challenge

The Row consisted of one final heat, using eight-man shells. The heat begins at the near side of the Harvard Bridge and ends at the far side of the boathouse pier. All boats compete with a handicap of 1.5 seconds for every five years out.
