Established in 2007, this endowment is used to support the compensation of the men's varsity lightweight coach position. Gerrit coached Men's Lightweight Freshmen 1959-1961 and Men's Lightweight Varsity 1962-1969. The Men's Lightweight Coach position will be named the Gerrit W.
