Savile Houseis currently, (as of 4/21/2001) in the possession of John Wood who farms the land with sheep and dairy cattle. 13Note the nearby house named "Hillside". There is also a hamlet named "Hill Side", where Bankhouse is located. References to Hillside might refer to either place. |

Trivia:There were, (at least) two farms in this area which were owned by Godfrey Bosville Esq. which were rented, (to someone) for an annual rent of one left hand glove for one farm and one right hand glove for the other. It would seem that rents were, in some cases, only a technicality. |
