Roberts²⁶ 1881²⁶. She was born in Waterboro, Maine. He married (2) Lula Annie Floyd 1900, daughter of Alvin Floyd and Ida Mason. She was born Feb 1882 in South Tamworth, Carroll County, New Hampshire, and died 06 Apr 1953 in South Tamworth, Carroll County, New Hampshire²⁶.

Notes for William Henry Whiting:
In 1900, William H. Whiting was living alone at age 40 in Tamworth (probably South Tamworth), NH. In a letter from Doris Whiting Brown May 6, 1993, she states that her father, William, was married before his marriage to her mother, Lula. She says his first wife was named Esther, last name possibly Smith. This does not match with Tamworth town records, which indicate he married Louisa M. Roberts in 1881. They were divorced before 1890, several years after their two boys Oscar and Curtis died. There is a birth record in the NH Vital Records for a Bertie Whiting, child of William H. and Louisa M. Whiting. The birth year is listed as 1881-1882. This would be consistent with the birth year for their son Curtis, but it is uncertain if Curtis and Bertie are the same person.
