Kathryn J. Morano (Farrell)
When you view my family tree, you'll find branches in English, Irish,
Scottish and Italian ancestry. Additionally, there are links for further research, with informational articles
to help you along your way.
Most of my research was done from my local Family History Center run by the
Latter Day Saints. For the English side of my family, I consulted the IGI (international genealogical index),
an index of the Wirksworth Parish Records compiled by John Palmer, and the records themselves. My Canadian research
required an extensive use of the Ontario census and various vital statistics records of Ontario. Finally, information
for my Italian ancestry was gathered from the Napoleonic Records on microfilm.
Additional assistance and leads were obtained through the several mailing lists to which I belong on the internet
as well as from E-mail enquiries I made to numerous organizations I encountered during my web-surfing, especially
those found on genealogical sites. Trips to the locales in question also provided data not readily obtained from
home.
Lastly, I would like to credit my son, Robert Farrell, for his technical expertise in creating this site. Furthermore,
I wish to thank all the wonderful people I met either in person or over the net, who have helped and encouraged
me along the way. Friends, this site is dedicated to you.
