The stork which is said to be always unpartial alighted Saturday night last
at the residence of William Osawomick, whose house, it will be remembered was
burned last winter and who lost his pony in the ice during a blizzard on his way
home and left, to the great gratification of William and his wife, another young
cedar chopper. To say they and their friends are gratified is putting it
mildly. The natives are always gratified with a child, but especially so with a
son.

Has A Noted Ancestry
Little Grace Pearl Fuller is the first of a Fifth Generation. Grace Pearl,
the little daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Fuller of 334 Carrie street, who was
born last week, enjoys the unusual distinction of being the first member of a
fifth generation, with grand-parents, great-grandfather and
great-great-grandfather, on her mother's side living. Mrs. Fuller is a daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Albon, who reside in this city. Mrs. Albon's grandfather,
Thos. Parr, is a resident of the Canadian Soo and is 96 years old, while her
father, Thos. Parr, is 68 years of age and was for many years a resident of
Rosedale. For over three centuries the Parr family has been noted for its
longevity, many of the male members living to be centenarians and nearly all of
them to an advanced age. Little Grace Pearl Fuller is a lineal descendant of
the famous Thomas Parr, of England, who authorities say was born in 1483 and
died in 1635, at the remarkable age of 152 years. He was known as "Old Man
Parr," and is supposed to have lived the longest of any man in the past four
centuries of whose age there was anything approaching an authentic record.
"Old Man Parr" was an historical figure in Europe a long time before his death,
on account of his great age.
