[NF030] According to a newspaper clipping from the American Republican, dated December 30, 1845:

"On the same day, by the same, John Woodruff of Cochranville, to Elizabeth McMekin, of Londondery, Chester County"

At the top of the clipping, in handwriting, was the name of the pastor, Rev. Alfred Hambleton. According to a different newspaper clipping from the CCHS, Rev Alfred Hambletom was the pastor at Faggs Manor Presbyterian Church. This was also validated by the book "A History of Faggs Manor United Presbyterian Church 1730 - 1980" which lists the tenure of Reverend Alfred Hamilton from 1836 to 1854.
