An opening note: Thursday November 21, 2002 I was stunned by news of the death of my life long friend Paul Zasadil with whom I had spent most of the day. Not genealogy related but closer to the heart than most will ever know. Click on his name for my eulogy, memory and guest book of my best friend.

I have long believed that this is George POFF and Lucy TRAIL who were married in Montgomery County, Virginia October 15, 1825. To date, I have been unable to come up with the proof. Living next door in household 1505-1539 are my gg gps Thomas and Mary (POFF) HUDNALL who were married December 6, 1849 in Kanawha County, (West) Virginia.
